OK. At first glance it looks like four sizes of bottle tops or jars can be opened but if you turn it over you realise it has been designed for eight sizes.

It works ! ! !

This is a really good product that does what it says. I bought it for a family member who has difficulty with opening lids and had just about given up on buying anything in a jar. Now it is much easier - the smallest setting even opens screw on bottle lids. Just remember to hold it by the OPEN end because this gives a better grip. The new - and very pleased - owner has tried it on all sorts of bottles and so far at least (a few weeks) has been able to open the jar every time.

All in all very pleased with this. A really useful aid.

This was purchased for a lady who has issues with gripping her hands for opening jars etc. I saw this item amongst similar ones and thought it looked the best, it had a great looking outer grip and can be turned over to open other size jars or bottle tops... needless to say the lady was very pleased and I've been informed by her husband that she's using it quite regularly now and is no longer asking for his help. That's a great recommendation...

This is invaluable for me in the kitchen as it is light weight and easy to grip and not much pressure required to open bottles or jars. Day I got it I opened a 5L bottle of water with no problem and I usually have to get someone to do this for me; the necks on these bottles tend to collapse if too much pressure is applied, but this opener achieved aim with no problem. I could recomend this particularly if you are weak or struggle to open things - I have MS and can use this no problem, it has been a godsend for me and my independence.
Thank you

The opener replaced a different method using a type of gripper mesh which after many years of use started to disintegrate. I hope this product will have a similar or better lifespan. The product seems well made and so far has been able to deal with everything.

this gadget is amazing, so easy to use. my hands are very weak and painful. several years ago i bought a completely different jar opener and, at times, have struggled to use it, as you have to force it open to fit the grip - which can be so painful on your hands. in fact i was reduced to tears more than once trying to unscrew the plastic tops on cartons of orange juice and milk. but i finally decided to throw that one and buy this one. i am so glad i decided to do this, it works effortlessly, leaves my hands pain-free and the jar/bottle/carton open. A wonderful piece of equipment.

I bought this for my mum some time ago and was delighted to see it still in use when I visited her recently. She has arthritis in her hands which makes opening jars and bottles pretty challenging. While she has tried various gadgets to overcome this in the past, she said that this one is far more comfortable and effective due to the range of sizes it can tackle and the 'grippy' material used.

I have tried the opener myself and found it comfortable and effective. It made short work of a metal cap on a bottle of cordial.

This is simple and doesn't look much, but it certainly does the job. I think it is a great tool for anyone with fine motor or grip difficulties, or anyone faced with a stubborn lid. Saves time and frustration and avoids hands.

I did wonder about a plastic jar opener BUT it is quite amazing and really works well and feels quite sturdy. Also, unlike the metal openers it does not wreck the lid. Although it looks like four sizes when you turn over you get another four and todate has opened all jars....great little product.

My wife has a mild arthritis in her hands and could never open jars or bottles, but with this simple little device, she can open everything the larder throws at her, including those nasty pickle jars.

Wanted a device to help with removal of stubborn jar and bottle lids. In particular re-useable fizzy drink bottles for example, when empty are extremely difficult if not impossible to open by hand. This Opener seemed a solution and had good reviews. Unfortunately when it arrived and I used it to try and open a stuck bottle top it was useless. Tried several size settings but each one just kept twisting round the bottle and had no impact on undoing it. There was no grip on the bottle and completely failed. The plastic seems too smooth and there is no rubber or other insert to grip the top so it will never do the job. Perhaps on easy to open jars it might be helpful but for stubborn or difficult tops , sorry but not at all suitable. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
